Though I've been quite busy during the last weeks I somehow found the time to build a new home for my and your dollies.
It is a farmhouse including old and shabby stuff as well as some modern elements.
It should work fine while playing. There are only two things that do not work: 1. you need to move either one of the chairs or the lamp in the kitchen - otherwise your sims will not get to the counters and the stairs and 2. the omps with the papers on the desk upstairs should be deleted before your sims try to use the computer :D
However, have fun and leave a comment if something does not work the way it should.
EPs: Nightlife, Seasons, Freetime (I guess it also works fine if you do not have these ones), Bon Voyage (necessary because of the fence in the garden), Apartment Life (necessary because I cannot live without shiftable pictures)

Date: 2011-01-10 11:32 am (UTC)Actually I don't know what is the problem about the CC not showing up in your game but I know that in some cases people tend to install houses just by clicking install in the Clean Installer - this works fine when there is no CC included, but the downloads in houses that contain CC will probably not show up when you do it this way with a CC-house [weird expression, isn't it]. Anyway - I always install houses following two [okay - actually 3] steps. Firstly I install the CC without the lot file [lotsegment for upload] - be sure to avoid default installation [since this brought a lot of problems in my game once] and search for your download folder where you install all the CC. Addiotionally I chose the file extension package files instead of Sims2Tmp - just because I want to avoid doubling in my folders. Secondly I delete the file that now appears in the teleport folder [in your sims2 folder] just to avoid problems that might appear with the next step. Last but not least I open the Sims2Pack file again and install the lot file only - default installation works fine here ^^

Date: 2011-01-11 07:41 am (UTC)For the animals - I got most of them from mts and the bigs are by eefje - I think most of the links are listed above :)
For the pictures, another user also had problems with this. Some meshes from malle [downloaded at limelove.blogspot.com] are not included in this file for some reason. I really don't know what it is that makes some meshes being included and others not.
